Dr Suzanne Mahady undertook advanced training in gastroenterology at Royal Prince Alfred and Westmead Hospitals, Sydney while completing a Masters Degree in Epidemiology. She then worked as consultant gastroenterologist in Western Sydney in both private and public practice while completing a PhD in Epidemiology, and teaching in her role as a Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology at the University of Sydney. She currently holds an appointment at The Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospitals, and Cabrini Brighton and Epworth Hospital, Richmond where she performs endoscopy and admits inpatients. She continues to be active in post doctoral research through aSenior Lecturer role in the School of Public Health & Preventive Medicine at Monash University. She has extensive experience in managing all general gastroenterology problems, and enjoys combining her research and clinical skills to offer the best care for her patients
