Dr Sureka Thiagalingam is a general ophthalmologist with interests including cataract, glaucoma, medical retina and paediatric ophthalmology. She did her ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Ocular Pathology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston USA (Harvard Medical School) before returning to work in Sydney.
Dr Thiagalingam has authored a number of peer reviewed journal articles. In addition to working at Iron Cove Eye Surgeons, she is also a visiting ophthalmologist at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and is involved in teaching trainee ophthalmologists and medical students there. She is also an examiner in Ocular Pathology for RANZCO.
