Dr. Sugan Appasamy went to school in Laudium ,Pretoria.He graduated in 1986 with the MBBCh at the Wits University in Johannesburg,South Africa. He started his medical career in Pretoria and spent time in General Surgery and Orthopaedics.He has been in general practice starting in 1988 .He worked in Pretoria as well as in Midrand in Johannesburg.He has extensive experience in all aspects of General Practice. In 2004 he gained the Hons BSc in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Stellenbosch. After twenty years of practice in South Africa he relocated to Perth in 2006. He is registered as a specialist General Practitioner with AHPRA. Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2008 He has been in practice at the Yanchep Medical Centre for the past 12 years . He has special interests in Diabetes and Type 1 Diabetes management including pump therapy.He has many years of experience in Hypertension and chronic diseases.
