Dr Ravi Jayalath is an experienced GP who obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Sri Lanka. While running his own general practice, he also worked within tertiary hospitals for eight years. He migrated to Australia in 2007 and undertook a Fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital. He refined his surgical skills and served the Burns and Plastic Surgical unit for 6 years. He was also involved with teaching and research at an international level.
