Dr Stuart Jones joined Surfcoast Medical Centre at the end of April 2018.
Stuart Jones is originally from Canada. He completed his medical degree at Flinders University in South Australia. During his general practice training in South Australia, he completed a Diploma of Child Health and a specialty year of paediatrics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide. Prior to moving to the Surfcoast with his wife and 2 daughters, he worked in rural general practice in Port Augusta and Mannum in South Australia, where he provided on call care for a rural emergency department and hospital ward in addition to his general practice work.
He sees a wide range of general practice presentations including men’s health, women’s health and aged care with an interest in skin cancer and paediatrics.
Outside of the clinic he enjoys a wide range of sport including running, swimming, soccer and now surfing!
