Dr Stephen Hatcher is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and is a member of the Queensland Combined Orthopaedic Group (QCOS). Dr Hatcher has a special interest in disorders of the foot, ankle and knee and has been practicing at the Wesley since 2010.
He obtained his medical degree at the University of Leeds, UK, in 1995 and began surgical training in England where he became a Member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of Edinburgh in 2000. Upon his relocation to Brisbane in 2001 he continued specialist orthopaedic training, being awarded my Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in January 2009.
Some of his special interest areas include surgical correction of foot and ankle deformities, arthroscopic surgery and ligament reconstruction as well as ankle and knee joint replacement.
