Dr Stephen O’Mara BSC, MBS, is a Fellow of Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and a Fellow of Royal Australia College of Physicians, graduating from UNSW with a degree in Pathology, Haematology, General Physician and Clinical Haematology and bone marrow transplantation training at Westmead Hospital. In 2009 Dr O’Mara won the Health Ministers Award for Quality Healthcare. Dr O’Mara previously represented rural areas at the Hospital Blood Transfusions Committee, is a Member of the Health Ministers Advisory Committee and an Examiner with the College of General Physicians. Dr O’Mara practices from Faulkner Street Medical practice once per fortnight and is available for patient consultations, Bone Marrow Biopsies and General Practitioner case enquiries.
