Dr Stephen O’Hagan obtained his M.B., B.S from the University of Queensland, Brisbane and has worked extensively in Ophthalmology in the United Kingdom and Australia. He was trained as a Registrar on the Queensland Ophthalmology Training program . Dr O'Hagan completed his Fellowship training as the Senior Eye Registrar at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington in London and has a Post Fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery. His interests include Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma and General Ophthalmology with an emphasis on Medical Retina and Lacrimal Surgery. He is a Senior Lecturer in Ophthalmology at James Cook University and is a Senior Consultant in Ophthalmology at Cairns Base Hospital.
