Dr Chua graduated from UQ School of Medicine in 2011, and spent several years working in Brisbane’s hospitals, including the Princess Alexandra, Mater Children’s, and Logan Hospital. She also enjoyed a brief period practicing in the rural communities of Cherbourg/Murgon and Monto. Dr Chua has spent the past year working at a busy general practice in Inala which she has thoroughly enjoyed. Being passionate about general practice, Dr Chua has broad interests in many aspects of medicine; from paediatrics to older person’s health, preventative health, chronic disease, mental health, and minor procedures. In particular, she completed a year of obstetrics and gynaecology at Logan Hospital, and is aligned with the Mater Mothers’ Hospital to provide antenatal shared care. Outside of medicine Dr Chua loves a good book, as well as playing the piano, guitar and (after visiting Hawaii) the ukulele.
