After graduating form from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, Dr Van Eeden worked in rural general practice and hospital settings in South Africa, England and Wales. He became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, London in 2001 and immigrated to Australia in 2002.
Dr Van Eeden has been a partner of the Medical Clinic Millicent since 2002. His special interests include orthopaedics, paediatrics, aged care, chronic fatigue, allergic and ear nose and throat disorders. He also provides obstetric shared care, is a registered methadone prescriber, Q fever vaccinator and an AGPAL surveyor and has an interest in General Practice management.
When not working, Dr Van Eeden spends time with his young family and enjoys projects in his workshop, hobby farming, fishing, and camping. He loves all sport and follows cricket and rugby union avidly.
