Stella grew up in rural Scotland and studied medicine at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 2006. She undertook her first two years of hospital training in the West of Scotland before moving to the sunny Gold Coast in 2008. After spending two years working in the Emergency Department at Gold Coast Hospital, Stella returned to Scotland in 2010 to complete the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH). In 2011 she began GP training in Northern New South Wales, working in Mullumbimby, Byron Bay and Murwillumbah before completing her Fellowship in 2013. Stella has also completed the Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine with the Australasian College of Skin Cancer in 2012. Stella is newly married and lives with her husband on the Gold Coast. She enjoys cooking and keeping active with surfing, running and yoga.
