Stacey graduated from the University of QLD in 2011, working in the areas of Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics and General Medicine during her residency. She has subsequently worked at the Australian Institute of Sport, followed by Sports Physician Registrar training..
Prior to commencing her medical training, Stacey worked as a Physiotherapist in the areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and occupational therapy, having graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy/Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University in 2004.
