Dr Sophie is the practice principal and owner of the practice since 1987. Sophie graduated from her Medical Degree from Sydney University in 1980. She spent 5 years in general and community paediatrics prior to starting work as a GP. She has a Master of Paediatrics and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Sophie married her husband Alvaro in 1990 and they have two young adult children Natalie and Enrique. Sophie speaks some Spanish and is an active member of the Colombian community in Sydney . Sophie has an interest in politics, social justice and the promotion of social values of inclusion and tolerance. She hopes the practice reflects those values. Sophie is no longer taking new patients . She has an interest in managing complex and chronic disease and mental health . Sophie enjoys dancing and aquarobics which combines music, dance ,exercise and the ability to talk above and under water !
