Sonali de Sylva is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, having obtained her fellowship and the Certificate of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry with the College of Psychiatrists in 2013. She has worked in a number of different hospital and outpatient settings throughout Australia and New Zealand. Sonali enjoys working with children, young people and families and she specialises in all areas of child and adolescent psychiatry. In her practice, Sonali adopts a holistic approach, utilising psychotherapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Family Therapy, together with medication. She also liaises with families, other healthcare professionals, school and organisations/ support groups as required.
