Dr Sinjini Biswas (Cardiologist)

Dr Sinjini Biswas is a general adult cardiologist with expertise in assessing and managing patients with a broad range of cardiac conditions including chest pain, syncope, ischaemic heart disease, valvular heart disease and heart failure.

Dr Biswas completed her undergraduate degree in medicine at the University of Melbourne and was also awarded a Bachelor of Medical Science for research in protein biomarkers. She completed training in general medicine and advanced training in cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Further experience in rural and regional cardiology was obtained through working at Bendigo Health.

Dr Biswas has broad research interests, particularly in improving systems of care and clinical outcomes for patients with acute myocardial infarction. She holds several scholarships for her research from the National Heart Foundation, National Health and Medical Research Council and Monash University, and has a doctoral degree through Monash University. She holds clinical appointments at The Alfred Hospital and Cabrini Hospital Malvern.
