Dr Shivani grew up in Toronto, Canada and moved to Adelaide in 2008 to study medicine at Flinders University where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery. She has worked in various hospitals across Adelaide as a resident and worked as a GP registrar in the Barossa Valley, South East and the Riverland.
