Dr Nallaiah graduated from the University of Sydney with 1st Class Honours and worked for many years at Concord Hospital. She completed a Masters in Public Health and Community Medicine and specialised in General Practice, attaining her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has worked in practices in Southern Sydney and the Inner West of Sydney. Dr Nallaiah was founder and director of a General Practice in the Inner West of Sydney where she worked for many years serving her local community. Outside the clinical setting, Dr Nallaiah has held an academic post at the University of Sydney, Westmead Clinical School, where she was actively involved in General Practice research and teaching medical students; advocated the rights of fellow GPs in training, serving as GP Registrar Liaison Officer with the Institute of General Practice Education; and held the position of Director of Quality Improvement at Concord Hospital. Dr Nallaiah has special interest in Children’s Health, Women’s Health, Chronic Disease management, Mental Health, Preventative Health Care as well as Travel Medicine.
