Dr Sheraz completed his medical qualifications at King’s College, London and has worked several years as a physician before coming to Australia. Dr Sheraz holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (U.K.). He completed the course in Medical Leadership and Management and worked for several years in Nottingham University Hospitals and the University of Leicester Hospitals where he was involved in teaching of medical students and junior doctors.
