Shaun grew up in the eastern suburbs and is a keen surfer. He works as an holistic general practitioner, Ayurveda and Yoga therapist. Shaun studied Ayurveda, India’s traditional system of medicine and Yoga teacher training in India and his medical practice is oriented to the promotion of wellbeing and the effective management of chronic illness of all kinds. His book ‘Journeys in Healing – How others have triumphed over disease and disability’ was published by Finch publishing in 2003. Shaun co-ordinates the Ayurvedic faculty at Nature Care College and was an associate lecturer in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales from 1992 – 2005.
