I am an Iranian trained gastroenterologist. After graduating from Tehran medical university in 2005 I have been working as a gastroenterologist with special interest in therapeutic and interventional endoscopy.

Initially I dedicated my practice in hepatobiliary system in particular ERCP.

Soon after moving to Australia in 2010 I have been assessed by the Royal Australian College of physician through the specialist pathway. After passing the “physician clinical exam” and one year supervised practice at Geelong university hospital, I fulfilled all the college requirement and received the fellowship admission as a gastroenterologist.

Now I am working as a gastroenterology consultant at Logan Hospital.

In the past two years my main focus is on IBD patient management and I am running the IBD clinic once a week at Logan Hospital.

At Logan hospital in addition to therapeutic endoscopy list, I have a teaching endoscopy session to train young gastroenterology trainees.

I have joined Northside Endoscopy Service (NES) team since July 2015. During my short period time of practice at NES, I believe NES provides a professional endoscopy service in a close friendly environment.
