Dr Seema is our female GP with over 25 years of experience in medicine and has been working in the northern suburbs of Brisbane for the last decade. Her special interests include Paediatrics and Adolescent medicine. This stems from her experience as a paediatrician in India before she transitioned into general practice and gained her RACGP fellowship. She is now enjoying all aspects of General medicine. She enjoys women's health including pap smears, antenatal and shared care, as well as implanon and mirena insertions. She manages all chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, heart and respiratory conditions and is passionate about regular preventive screenings with a holistic approach to her patients’ wellbeing. She takes care of Mental health patients with extreme care. She prides herself on being an advocate for weight loss, regularly tailoring programs for her patients. She does full skin checks and minor surgical skin cancer procedures. She has a keen interest in skin care and is able to provide interventions and advice about reversal of skin ageing. She enjoys doing cosmetic procedures such as anti-wrinkle treatment (Dysport), fillers and will soon begin performing PRP treatment. Aside from routine general practice, she is also an RACGP examiner, mentor to new RACGP fellows and International Medical Graduates, and is a surveyor for AGPAL Accreditation.. She speaks English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
