Graduate from the University College Galway, Ireland in 1980. He has extensive experience in General practice both in the UK, Ireland and Australia. He has always been involved in development of Primary care and was a founding Director of the first major Out of Hours GP Co-Operative in the UK in 1989 and the first Out of Hours GP Co-Operative in Ireland in 1999. In 2003, he was the founding National Director of the National Programme for secondary prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in Ireland and was the was appointed Special Advisor on Primary Care to the CEO of the Irish National Health Service in 2005. Sean fell in love with Queensland while working here 30 years ago and has been a frequent visitor to Coolum and Noosa ever since. He moved with his family to the Sunshine Coast full time in 2012. His special interests are Cardiovascular and Respiratory conditions, in particular Coronary heart Disease and Asthma.
