Scott has worked in the Hunter for many years, obtained his medical degree at Newcastle University and completed his Pharmacology and Respiratory training in Newcastle.
Scott has worked as a General and Respiratory Physician at the Calvary Mater Hospital and more recently as a Respiratory Physician and as the Director of Prevocational Education and Training at the John Hunter Hospital.
As well as an interest in general respiratory medicine, Scott has established himself as an interventional bronchoscopist, and has a specific interest in lung cancer and pleural diseases. He is closely involved and a significant contributor with the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand’s interventional pulmonology group.
