Dr Sarah Matthews completed her medical degree in 1992 at Adelaide University. She spent two years working in hospitals in the UK and a further year in Vietnam and Thailand. On return to Australia she worked in the paediatric field then moved to Melbourne for five years in which time she completed her Fellowship in General Practice.
During this time she developed a keen interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and after working at the Royal Women’s Hospital undertook a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
