Dr Sara was born in Iran. After completion of her medical degree in 2007, she worked as a general practitioner for over six years in her home country including rural and urban areas. She moved to Australia with her husband in 2014, initially settled and worked in Queensland and then joined East Maitland Family Medical Centre in 2015. She is passionate in her career and keeps herself up to date by studying new guidelines and attending conferences. Her interests include women’s health, antenatal care, children’s health, mental health, chronic disease management and providing primary health care services to all patients. Dr Sara is now a mother to a beautiful little girl. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, walking, listening to music and swimming.
