Dr Santoshi Nagaonkar completed his Bachelor of Medicine degree in 1994 and specialised in General Surgery in 1998. During his surgical training, he developed a particular interest in urological diseases. He then pursued a three-year super speciality course in Urological Surgery from Mumbai, India. He was also awarded a National Gold Medal (Diplomate National Board) in his Urology exit examination. He has been a fellow of European Board of Urology and has also obtained Australasian College of Surgeon’s certification (FRACS) in Urology. Dr Nagaonkar has offered his services to patients on the mid north coast since March 2005. He has presented and published a number of publications in various international journals. His special interests have been prostate cancer, laparoscopic urological surgery (keyhole surgery) and stone surgery.
