Dr Santhi Chalasani was born and educated in Sydney at Fort Street High School. She graduated from Monash University with Honours in 2005. She completed specialist physician training in Endocrinology at Concord, Nepean and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals in Sydney in 2014. She completed a Masters of Philosophy in diabetes research in conjunction with The George Institute for Global Health and Sydney University in 2017.
Dr Chalasani is highly qualified in general endocrinology and enjoys treating a wide range of endocrine diseases such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, PCOS, pituitary and adrenal disorders, osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. She has a special interest in thyroid disorders and pregnancy-related endocrine dysfunction.
Santhi is an excellent clinician and patients appreciate her warmth and dedication. Santhi has two young children.
Dr Chalasani regularly attends national and international endocrine meetings to ensure she provides the best care to her patients. She is fluent in Telugu.
