Dr Sanjay Gehlot (Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine Specialist)

Dr Gehlot sees children from newborn to 13 years of age with a diverse range of developmental issues.

He has a special interest in developmental assessments, diagnosis and management of children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), associated comorbidities and behavioral challenges. Dr Gehlot adopts a holistic approach as he works collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary team in light of latest clinical evidence and practical goal-oriented approach.

Dr Gehlot has more than a decade of clinical experience including working with child assessment team (CAT) and neonatal developmental follow up program at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide. He then gained further training at Royal Children Hospital, Melbourne before moving locally to Princess Margaret Hospital & King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth.

Dr Gehlot has as public appointment at Child Development Services since 2014. Dr Gehlot is an adjunct lecturer/clinical senior lecturer in Paediatrics at UWA and University of Notre Dame respectively. He also works at SJOG hospital, Subiaco and has locum Consultant position at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Dr Gehlot is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Neurobehavioral and Paediatric Society of Australasia (NBPSA).
