Dr Sandeep Chand has been in the field of psychiatry since year 2000. After finishing his MBBS from India from one of the most reputed Medical College (Christian Medical College, Vellore) he started his journey in the field of psychiatry in United Kingdom. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of psychiatrist, London, in 2006 and moved to Australia in 2007.
Dr Chand obtained his Fellowship here in Australia in 2008 and also his Academic title with BOND University as an Assistant professor.
Over the years Dr Sandeep Chand has worked in various roles in Public mental health services, which includes being a keen advocate for integration of public mental health services with primary care and also as the Medical Director for Gold Coast mental health.
His area of interests has been in teaching medical students and postgraduates, in research and in early interventions' in mental health.
