Dr Rowena Mobbs is a general neurologist with subspecialty interest in cognitive disturbance and neurodegenerative diseases, neuropsychiatric disorders and neurological sleep disorders. Dr Rowena Mobbs has jointly conducted leading research in the field of spinal cord injury and chronic spinal cord compression, twice being awarded the Spine Society of Australia Research Award. Dr Rowena Mobbs is a cognitive neurologist specialising in assisting patients with: Short and long term memory loss Early onset dementia Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias Behavioural and psychiatric disturbance related to neurological disorders Sleep disruption related to hallucinations and illusions Sleep disruption related to dream re-enactment behaviour or limb jerking Myelopathy caused by spinal cord compression (spondylosis) General neurological disorders such as stroke, migraine and seizures Providing care and multidisciplinary services for patients, relief of symptoms and maintaining quality of life.
