GENERAL PRACTITIONER With a special interest in Family Planning (including Intrauterine Device insertion/removal), Skin Cancer Medicine, Children's Health and Mental Health.
Originally from Townsville, Dr Ros completed her Medical Degree locally at James Cook University Townsville. She is quite familiar with the unique challenges faced by local Defence families having moved with her Army husband and three kids around Australia many times over the past 15 years. Most recently posted from Brisbane, Dr Ros and her family have moved back to Townsville and have decided to settle long term.
Dr Ros has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2012. She enjoys getting to know her patients and working with them to achieve their health goals.

Dr Ros has undertaken additional training in Women’s and Children’s health, Mental Health, as well as Skin Cancer Medicine. She is qualified in Intrauterine Device insertion/removal, Implanon insertion/removal and can provide full-body skin checks as well as travel advice.
