Richard became a GP in UK in 2003, having previously worked in a variety of specialities, including a stint as a psychiatrist in semi-rural Queensland. In 2012 he completed a PGCE in medical education and started supervising doctors training to be GPs. In 2015 he returned to Aus and started work at North Shore Medical Centre. Richards special interests include skin surgery, child development, ATSI health (NCACCH Health Check Day GP), gastrointestinal, and palliative care. He is passionate about communicating clinical evidence to empower patients to make decisions about their own health. In his spare time he goes to the beach with his young family or kitesurfs
