Dr Richard Hetzel has enjoyed being a GP for children, young adults and older people for many years.In the 1990s he undertook psychiatry training and has developed a special interest in mental health. Other particular interests include managing chronic pain, addiction and personal & career crises. He was a key person in establishing a health care program for doctors in 2010. He writes a regular health newsletter and has authored several books, his latest in 2013 “why fit people can get sick”.
