Dr. Richa Dua migrated to Australia after doing her basic Medical training from India. She then trained in the The Townsville hospital and finished her General Practice ( FRACGP) training in Townsville. She has special interest in Child health , Mental Health and Women’s health. She did a Diploma in Child Health from University of Sydney. She also worked as a Registrar in Mental Health services at The Townsville hospital to gain more experience in Community Mental health . She has done a certificate course in skin cancer medicine and dermoscopy and also holds certificate course in Family planning. Dr. Richa Dua has been teaching future doctors of North Queensland at The school of Medicine , JCU since 2008. When not working, she looks after her family. She is a very active in participating in community events. Very interested in different cultures and reads a lot- mostly non fiction . She believes in holistic approach to patient care and that healthy families make happy communities!
