Dr Roy is a General Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2009. She then completed additional Residency training across multiple hospitals in Brisbane obtaining valuable experience in numerous disciplines of Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology and Paediatrics. Dr Roy then undertook specialist training in General Practice and was awarded the Fellowship from the RACGP.
Dr Roy enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with particular interests in Women’s Health including Contraception (Implanon trained) and Antenatal Care. She is aligned with the Mater Antenatal Program and is qualified to provide Shared Antenatal Care. She also has a keen interest in Paediatrics, Dermatology, Mental Health and Management of Chronic diseases.
Dr Roy is approachable, friendly and enjoys an excellent relationship with her patients. Outside of work, Dr Roy enjoys movies, music and travel.
