Dr Reg Cammack qualified as a Specialist Anaesthetist in 1982 after training at both Westmead Hospital and Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children.

Since then, he has been in full-time private practice with a Public Hospital appointment as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Concord Hospital. He was also a VMO at Mt Druitt Hospital for 12 years and, for nearly 2 years, was also a VMO at Hawkesbury District Hospital at Windsor. His private hospital appointments currently include Norwest Private, Minchinbury Community and Westmead Private. He is also currently Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at Minchinbury Community Hospital.

Dr Cammack was a foundation member of Anaesthesia Associates and a driving force behind the continued growth of our group practice.

Dr Cammack has been actively involved in medical politics throughout his professional career. He was a member of the Federal Economics Advisory Committee of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) for many years and has also served as Chairman of the NSW Branch of the ASA. He has a keen interest in the history of anaesthesia and has developed, as an on-going project, a timeline of that history for the ASA's website.
