Dr. South qualified as a doctor at The University of NSW in 1995. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma with The Royal Australian College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
With a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health, Dr. South also works as a Senior Medical Officer at Ashfield Family Planning NSW Clinic and is very experienced in Implanon and IUD insertion, both copper and Mirena. An examiner for the RACGP fellowship examinations, Dr. South is also a senior lecturer at the Sexual Health and Family Planning Certificate Course and co-ordinates IUD insertion Training for FPNSW.
