Dr Rebecca Haward is an Ophthalmologist who undertook her specialist training in Melbourne at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital. She completed her medical degree at Monash University, graduating with honours. Dr Haward also undertook further specialty training in Medical Retina and Uveitis in the UK at Bristol Eye Hospital.
Dr Haward holds a position at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital in their Acute and Surgical Ophthalmology Clinics and the Eye Emergency Department. She is actively involved in education and training, and the supervision of trainee Ophthalmologists. She continues to work in her subspecialty areas with particular interest in the care of macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and vein occlusions.
