Rajika obtained her medical degree from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, and received her FRACP in 2006 following completion of her training in cardiology. Dr Karunadasa undertook further training in echocardiography at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne and completed her specialist medical training in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
