Dr.Rajasekar Malvathu is a Specialist Renal Physician who is passionate about providing quality services for complex patients with kidney disorders. Dr.Malvathu is a Nephrologist with interests in all aspects of kidney disease, hypertension, and electrolyte disturbances with more focus on preventative aspects of chronic kidney disease. He is passionate in providing an integrated health services to the Indigenous population and conducts an specialist outreach clinic at Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Health and Wellness centre at Kwinana regularly
Dr.Malvathu completed his under graduation in Stanley Medical College a reputed medical institution in Chennai, India and further worked in Sultanate of Oman before finally moving to Australia to undertake post graduate study in the field of Nephrology and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2010.
Dr.Malvathu currently works as Consultant Physician and Nephrologist at Rockingham General Hospital since May 2011. He has been appointed as Head of Department of Internal Medicine and its specialities since July 2013. He brings vast clinical experience having worked in India, Sultanate of Oman and Australia.
