Dr Ahmad is an experienced occupational health medical practitioner with over 18 years' experience in the occupational health sector in Canberra, Sydney, and overseas. After graduating from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, he spent the following years working in various hospital departments and as a rural and remote GP/senior medical advisor and aeromedical evacuation coordinator in West Papua. Whilst working at a Gold and Copper Mine Dr Ahmad developed an interest in occupational medicine – a field of medicine he continues within our clinic. Dr Ahmad has undergone postgraduate training in radiology, aviation medicine, and occupational and environmental medicine. Dr Ahmad has continued over many years to work part time as a Chief Medical Officer in Canberra and NSW based hospitals.
