Dr Stokes is an experienced General Practitioner, with specialty training in Paediatrics. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1993, completed a postgraduate Diploma of Paediatrics in 1996, and passed her final Paediatric Physician Fellowship exams in 1999. She continued working in Paediatrics until 2002.
Whilst having her own children, Rachel worked as an Emergency Department physician for 5 years, where she developed an interest in continuity of family care. In 2007 she undertook further specialty training in General Practice, completing her second Fellowship exams as a General Practitioner in 2010. Rachel also has other clinical interests in Women’s Health, Nutrition, and Sport & Fitness Medicine.
Rachel lives in Mosman with her husband and 2 children, and enjoys jogging, surf life saving, boating, and spending time with her family.
