Rachel’s bio will be updated soon.Dr Rachel Sawyer located to the Sunshine Coast from Christchurch, New Zealand in 2010. She completed her medical degree at Otago University in 1995 and has spent the last 19 years practicing emergency medicine in both Australia and New Zealand.
A desire to achieve a more balanced lifestyle saw Rachel spend the last 3 years helping to set up the new Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital before commencing GP training in 2016.
Her interests include general medicine, procedures, acute injury management, preventative medicine and aged care.
Rachel has two teenage boys and loves to enjoy adventures outside work including mountain biking, any beach activity and travelling.
