I studied medicine at the University of NSW, and have subsequently completed a post graduate Diploma in Child Health (USyd) and Certificate of Sexual Health and Family Planning (FPNSW). I have worked in Penrith and the Blue Mountains, as well as several short stints in various rural NSW and QLD locations before joining the practice at Castle Hill from 2013. I have always been drawn to the diversity of general practice, and the rich relationships that develop with patients and their families over time.

I am passionate about motivating people with the knowledge and resources they need to achieve optimal wellbeing in all dimensions of life, be it physical, emotional, relational and spiritual. I’m keenly aware of the impact that nutrition, exercise and stress has on so many manifestations of illness, and derive great satisfaction in helping people implement small but consistent changes that can make such a big difference in their daily lives.

Specific areas of interests include women’s health (from contraception and pregnancy, to menopause and beyond), paediatrics including the newborn period, mental health, preventive health checks and counselling, and weight management.

When not at work, I can be found playing with my young son, volunteering in my local church, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
