Dr Johnson graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Medicine / Surgery in 1977 after completing a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) with Honours in 1975. Following extensive training , he was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1984. Dr Johnson is the head of the department of General Physicians.
