Dr Peter Comben was born in Dalby, Qld, and obtained his MB.BS from the University of Qld in 1979. After intern years in Townsville and Brisbane, he spent 20 years in rural General Practice in Mackay with a 1 year “Sabbatical” with RFDS in Mt Isa. More recently he has been in a group general practice at Tweed Heads South, from 2004-2014. Dr Comben has achieved his FRACGP in 2009. He is interested in General Family Medicine across all generations; he has an interest in Sports Medicine, and is personally a Triathlon “Tragic”, which consumes much of his leisure time. He is married to Denise, with 4 adult children, and lives in Currumbin.
