Peter graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2005. He worked primarily in emergency medicine, migrant and pre-employment health, and workcover injury management prior to his time in general practice. Peter enjoys working as a GP because he loves people, loves the challenge of relating to all personality types, and loves seeing his patients leave the room satisfied and with a smile. He has special interests in procedural medicine and is a strong advocate for continuity of care and effective doctor-patient communication skills. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. Note: Dr Peter Chong primarily works at Dundas Valley Medical Centre in Telopea, but joins our team when doctors are on leave.
