Dr Wright has a relaxed and compassionate attitude that will put you at ease knowing you're in capable, caring hands.
As an adolescent and paediatric gynaecology specialist, Dr Wright has experience managing both simple and complex gynaecological conditions in women of all ages. She has completed a fellowship in the area of adolescent gynaecology, a special area of interest she developed during her time working in indigenous women's health in the Northern Territory.
Dr Wright completed her undergraduate medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne in 2004. Her training has been centred in tertiary level hospitals where she furthered her interest and experience in the management of high risk pregnancies.
She is motivated to care for women through all aspects of pregnancy, and labour - with a focus on supporting each woman's individual wishes and needs while helping to ensure a safe outcome.
She also has an interest in pelvic floor surgery, incontinence and laparoscopic surgery. She is a highly experienced colposcopist, having worked extensively in areas of the Northern Territory with a high prevalence of cervical and vulval dysplasia.
