Dr Penelope Mackenzie (Radiation Oncologist)

Dr Penny Mackenzie is a Radiation Oncologist sub-specialising in the management of Breast, Head and Neck (including skin and melanoma), GI, and Brain tumours.

Penny obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne with Honours and completed her Specialist training in radiation oncology Brisbane. Dr Mackenzie then completed a breast cancer fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Canada. Penny has previously held a number of senior positions including Chair of the Head and Neck Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Clinic and Co-Lead of the Brain Tumour Stereotactic Radiotherapy Program at St George Hospital, Sydney. She has recently been appointed Chair of the Icon Head and Neck Cancer Radiotherapy Committee.

She has returned home to Queensland to work and looks forward to collaborating with the Icon team and her specialist colleagues in Toowoomba.
