Dr Pedro Valente is the newest member of our team at Rosehill Practice as a specialist in skin cancer diagnosis and management (biopsy, excisions, grafts and flaps). He also has numerous years of experience in all forms of cosmetic medicine such as anti-aging treatments, fillers, lasers and cosmetic procedures.
Dr Valente has undertaken several years of surgical training in Accredited General and Plastic and Reconstructive surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) before turning his attention solely to Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery and Cosmetic Medicine.
Dr Valente completed his Master of Surgery in Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery through the University of Sydney, Australia. Dr Valente is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS) after completing an intense two-year surgical fellowship both Nationally and Internationally. He also holds memberships with The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine (ACAM).
Gentle and meticulous in nature, Dr Valente brings his skills and passion to the Australian public. By guiding his patients through difficult decisions of cancer treatment, he ensures everyone placed in his care has access to the right treatment and the best support. Dr Valente is committed to educating patients and demystifying what is on their skin, especially when they think that new marks and moles are a normal part of ageing, when in fact they could turn out to be dangerous skin cancers.
